In the style of Sinatra, Garland, Warlow and Minnelli, Steve Judkins and Sasha Ely present a show radiating with energy and overflowing with style. The combination of swing classics with show stopping musical theatre numbers produces an act to rival any on the international stage. The songs listed are accompanied ideally by a seven-piece band but can be reduced down to a three piece or solo piano should the event require a smaller set up. The selection of music listed was arranged in London by Dave Carter who is one of the most well respected musical directors in the country having arranged music for many of The West Ends most accomplished artists. Steve Judkins is one of Australia leading entertainers. His career spans fifteen years with performances from all sides of the globe. With several Australian musical theatre credits under his belt including The Rocky Horror Show, West Side Story and Bad Boy Johnny and The Prophets of Doom, Steve set his sights on The West End where he went on to take leading roles in Notre Dame De Paris (along side fellow Aussie Dannii Minogue) and the West End production of The Full Monty.
Steve moved to The United States in 2004 where he starred as Curly in the Las Vegas production of Oklahoma at the world-renowned Red Rock Canyon. Steve went on to tour The United States in Broadways Star Spangled Celebration as the lead vocalist and show host. He later returned to Las Vegas where he performed his own cabaret set at several top Vegas casinos including The Stardust and Reno’s Eldorado Hotel and Casino.
In 2007 Steve was lured back to the U.K to join the cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang performing again with a fellow Aussie Craig McLachlin. Steve Judkins most recently completed the Melbourne season of Billy Elliot and has appeared on television as an actor on several Australian dramas such as Water Rats, All Saints and Big Sky , he is no stranger to a microphone having hosted countless corporate events and charity functions.
